Uhm, there's lots of mistakes in this article in the French version of the Canadian Encyclopedia. Holy crap, I'm shocked!
What the hell is the Proclamation of Quebec? 1763 saw the Royal Proclamation, which did have a thing or two to say about French Canadians, but it was about more than "Quebec". And the Quebec Act came later in 1774. And what's this about it causing a war with the United States?? Huh???
Hey, enlighten me somebody if I'm missing something.
