The Troubles appear to be finally over for the people of Ireland. Read the Official Statement of the IRA and of Sinn Fein here. There is no longer any taste for armed political struggles in this New World we live in.But Ireland remains a divided land. Let us hope the Irish People can now come together to bridge the divisions which have fuelled so much death, destruction and pain... and so many political careers.
