MacIsaac is writing all about his love-hate relationship with Canada and Quebeckers in a new book, tentatively titled Je Suis de l'Acadie and My Grandmother Is a LeBlanc. His first book, a ghostwritten biography called Fiddling with Disaster, was published two years ago.
"I'm totally pro-French, but one thing that really gets me going is that in Quebec, they think they're so much more special than everyone else because they were one of the original settlers. That's so old history, unlike the Canada we live in now that is so accepting of all cultures."
