    hy·per·bo·le ( P ) Pronunciation Key (h-pûrb-l) n.
    A figure of speech in which exaggeration is used for emphasis or effect, as in "I could sleep for a year" or "This book weighs a ton" or when Stephen Harper says in the House "If I belonged to an organization and led an organization that was found to have been involved in a massive corruption ring using organized crime to defraud taxpayers, I cannot understand why anyone found in that position would want to be associated with that organization."
