Marc Bureau: Is He Ignoring Aylmer and its 40% English-speaking Population?

The new mayor of Gatineau not only was the only candidate (mayoral and councillor) in the recent muncipal election to have only unilingual (French) campaign material in Aylmer (where 40% of the population speaks English), he didn't even bother to show up at a meeting on English services in Aylmer during the campaign. And now we learn that his new Executive Council has representatives from every sector of the city except ... you guessed it ... Aylmer.

Man, I wish I had been in town to vote.
