A silver lining perhaps. But 50% of Quebecers are still voting against the Bloc. Even with the Libs making a mess of things. Tough to see a referendum win in these numbers. But then, all we need is 50% plus one, right? ;-)
You won't see this reported in the Québec Press, but these polling numbers for the BQ are actually lower than previous polls, and are pretty much in the ball park with where they've been since February 2004. Admittedly higher than the numbers for pre-2004 though.
(And for those reporters who keep going on about how the Bloc may elect more memebrs than their "record-breaking" victory in 2004, 2004 was clearly a strong showing for the BQ, but it only tied previous performances in federal elections. A small point, but hey, it is my self-appointed task to straighten out these things which, once they get built up into myth by the Press, take on a life all their own.)
