A MAN had two fingers and a thumb chopped off with a tomahawk during a fight at a Sydney house early today.
Two men were arguing at the house in Leichhardt, inner west Sydney, about 2am (AEDT) when one of them took to the other with the tomahawk, police said.
The attacker fled in a vehicle afterwards.
The victim suffered injuries to both arms and head wounds.
He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
